Hello Paul,
Zarberg mentioned Mobile Intel QM67 Express Chipset,
so I thought that the "mobile" might work for him, but not for me. Now I installed "mobile" and looks like
it works fine in AHCI mode, no conflicts in hardware.
Thank you very much for your help!

Hi:
You need to install the Intel(R) Desktop/Workstation/Server Express Chipset SATA AHCI Controller.
The 32 bit drivers are the second file listed at the link below.

Hi, Sorin:
Windows XP should install with the BIOS set to IDE mode without installing any drivers.
Are you using an XP SP2 disk or newer?
Maybe anything older won't work at all.
If you are using an XP SP2 installation disk, how about trying to slipstream the SATA AHCI drivers?
Please read this guide to do that at the link below. Read the Intel section and then follow the instructions on the downloadable document to slipstream all of the drivers.
Below is the link to the drivers you need to slipstream. XP 32 bit is the second file listed.

Thanks Paul for your very quik response.
I am not at work momenarily. These units came with win 7 pro, so it is eligible to xp. I use for instalation original disk from xp sp3 pro OEM edition. Even tryed with home edition sp3 OEM. Booth options , ide or ahci give same results. I have leave overnight at stalled screen with same results. I will try at night to sleepsttrsm drivers. I will read sugedtions even if i know very well how to use nlite or other software to sleapstream drivers.

Now im came to work to contiune pursuit these problem. I tryed version 1022 (that you sugested - with usb floppy , not sleepstreamed) and didn't work. Another strange situation observed (sory for not writing on initial post about that) is the fact that when setup came to specify aditionaly drivers, it list only 4 entry, even if in textsetup is specified more. the specified drivers is
ich7R /dh
ich7MDH
intel DESKTOP/workstation, /serverEXPRESS CHIPSET SATA RAID CONTROLLER (it don't list the ahci model, only sata raid)
intel mobile EXPRESS CHIPSET SATA RAID CONTROLLER
I even tryed to load all four drivers listed, but no thing changed
Another ideea i have tryed just now is to unplug the hard disk an let only cdrom to see if it give me the error of no hard disk founded. Even in this situation same result. Computer stall at "Setup is starting windows. I will try next to setup with diferent hall to see if somthing is wrong with configuration setup of the board."
I tryed with F7 to disable Acpi. No luck...

Hi:
Are you using the Up/Down arrow keys on the keyboard to scroll to and find the correct driver.
The screen never shows all of the drivers on the floppy disk. You need to scroll up or down and find the others.
