AMD High-definition Graphics Driver Update not installing

As we have properly understoodyour issue please perform these steps and let us know:

the above issue generally occurs  due to the some problem windows system files, this might be due to some newly installed software or might be due to some malware.

firstly do the following things-

1.press windows key- type cmd

2.right click on cmd and choose run as administrator

3.in the command prompt type sfc /scannow

4.hit enter...

this will check your windows files for any complication if found then it will automatically resolve it....

then try to upgrade your product...

if it does not solve your problem you can try system restore(choose the date when u have just installed the OS) and then try to update....

Hi @DarkElevent

Welcome to the HP Support Community. I'd be happy to assist you with the display issue.

To better assist you -

1) Could you please elaborate more?

2) May I have the exact model name of the product? Refer to this document for steps to find the product details. Do not share any of your personal information such as serial, phone number, email ID, etc.

3) What's the operating system installed on the computer?

While you respond to that, please try these steps to update the computer -

Step 1 Windows Updates troubleshooter -

Click on this link to run Windows Updates troubleshooter.

Step 2 Windows Updates -

1) In the search box, type and open Windows Updates.

2) Check for updates.

3) If the updates are available, click on install and restart the computer.

Step 3 HP Support Assistant Updates -

1) In the search box, type and open HP Support Assistant.

2) Check for updates.

3) If the updates are available, click on install and restart the computer.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
