I bought a new  Ac adapter Input  100-240 1.6A

output 18.5V 3.5A   LPS

Is this adapter compitable with Hp probook 4530

The only thing that effects your laptop is the output 18.5V  X  3.5A

I just checked one in the warehouse and that is exactly what your laptop requires.

 

18.5V  X  3.5A + 64.5W   (65W)

The INPUT volts are as you posted.

 

100-240 this means that the AC adaptor will work around the world.

 

If you take your service cover off you will see a sticker that says 18.5V  3.5A 

 

That is the Volts and Amps that your laptop needs.
