Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My laptop adaptor(135w) not working. It seems I have to change the same. But unfortunately, nowhere (hp store online/ local) I found the 135w charger instead 150w charger is available. Can I use 150w charger instead?

135 W AC power adapter

 

Please send picture of charger details

Output:

- Voltage (V)

- Wattage (W)

- Ampere (A)

 

If 150W power adapter has same Voltage and Ampere you can use it.

Thanks for your quick response. Here are the specifications :

135w Adaptor charger
Input Voltage: 100V-240V 50/60hz
Output Voltage: 19.5V
Output Current: 6.9A (135W)
Connector: 4.5mm*3.0mm

and

150w Adaptor charger
Input Voltage: 100V-240V 50/60hz
Output Voltage: 19.5V
Output Current: 7.7A (150W)
Connector: 4.5mm*3.0mm

 

It shows the difference in output current is 0.8A.  Can I use the same 150w Adaptor charger? Please suggest.

Too much ampere (A) is dangerous. 0.8 sounds little, but it is a lot. I can not recommend, there may be damage.
