Product: Sleekbook HP Pavilion 15-b040sl
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

Hi everyone, I would like to add 4GB of ram to my Sleekbook HP Pavilion 15-b040sl. As you can see here (https://support.hp.com/it-it/document/c03565612) my laptop can have up to 8GB of ram and now it has 4GB. To add the ram I have to buy 8GB and replace the 4GB in the laptop or I have to buy 4GB and add it to the 4? In case the second option is the right one, is it good this ram for my laptop? (https://www.amazon.it/gp/product/B008CP5QR2/ref=ox_sc_saved_title_1?smid=A22K8UVALPU7Q3&psc=1)

Since you have Intel HM77 Chip set: you should be able to have 8GB.

That memory is for a Desktop Computer not a laptop.
