Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

So, I'm trying to figure out which M.2 drives are compatible with my laptop.  There is an M.2 slot, but I can't find any further information on which specific drive types work.  I'd like to use this:

Amazon.com: Samsung (MZ-V7S1T0B/AM) 970 EVO Plus SSD 1TB - M.2 NVMe Interface Internal Solid State D...

(based on performance reviews, and the Samsung tools that come along with the drive for cloning)

 

I'd like to add the drive and clone inside the machine, which I read someone was going to try and post back, but I didn't see them post back. (and not sure what drive they were going to use).

 

Any help appreciated.

The Samsung 970 Evo Plus will be compatible. Several ways to migrate the OS to the new SSD. Doing a clone with Macrium Reflect Free app is one of the better ones. Focus on pages 34-43 in the Manual.
