Tried to search the forum but could not find my answer.
I want to add an SSD to my system to get more storage space. Found your servicemanual/parts list, and saw the parts i need to buy to get what i want.

The question I have now is.

The flexcable between the connector board and the motherboard, is it included with the connectorboard if i order it or a separate item i need to find?

And second question is,
From where can i buy them and get them sent to Sweden?.

The parts i found in the list is

For the SATA HDD
Hard drive connector board L20454-001

Hard drive bracket L20455-001

For the SSD
Solid-state drive bracket L20458-001
Solid-state drive connector boardL20457-001
I prefer to install another SSD drive as the one inside allready is, so my question aim firstly for the SSD solution.

I have the drives allready, just need the parts to install them inside the laptop properly.

The PC in question is
HP Laptop 15-da0804no, Serialnr: [edited], Productnr:5EU25EA

@Lasseystad

Machine only has 512 GB PCIe® NVMe™ M.2 SSD and you can add 2.5" HHD or SSD to this machine therefore you need to buy hardware parts for Hard drive only., no need to buy parts for SSD.

Many parts with prefix L are new, very hard to find. An Authorized Service Provider parts can help you to order parts or please try

Thank you for your reply Banhien.
I understand your reply, but my "problem" is that my Laptop came with these three items described in my first question.
The parts for SSD ( Bracket L20458-001, SSD Cable L20456-001 and Connector board L20457-001 ) allready in the package, meaning not installed inside the machine.

I started to read back on a lot of posts in this support board and didnt really find an answer on what and how to use them eccept they was for installing another SSD M.2 to this machine.

I went ahead and installed the parts and now i wonder how to get the PC to accept and actually find the SSD M.2 drive i bought. Been building PCs for over 20 years now, and this got me stumped as the SSD M.2 will not be detected at all.

Tried to update the bios but the option of actually update the Bios is locked for some reason i dont understand. The option to update is grey and cant be checked. Only the "create a bios recovery USB" is accepted.

The ssd M.2 drive i have bought works flawlessy in my wifes HP, but in this machine wont even pick it upp in the hardware list.
The drive in question is Intel 660P Series 512GB m.2-PCI-E Nvme SSD 512GB M.2 2280 PCI Express 3.0 x4 (NVMe)

So what can i do to actually make this work. The parts i asked about is HP original factory parts and the came with the laptop, so as i said, I have a hrd time figure this out. Why the disk isent even detected by the system, and why is the bios update blocked on this machine?

Thank you in advanced,

Lasse
