Add Second SSD

I already have sandisk m.2 ssd 256GB and i want to add another ssd (1TB or 500GB) to my PC in the 7mm / 2.5mm place.

i would like to know if my pc support in more ssd drive, if do, which SATA i need to buy for most compatibility.

Yes you can put a 2.5 inch SATA 7mm thick SSD in that space instead of a mechanical drive but if you have an M.2 already for the bootdrive, you will not see any major performance upgrade over a hard drive. The exception would be if you are doing disk intensive operations like video editing and need to be sure your computer is always accessing a fast disk even if pulling from storage. All SSDs are 7 mm thick so replacing the hard drive with an SSD is very straightforward. See pp. 32-34. But if all you have now is the M.2 please open the bay door before you buy an SSD to be sure the mounting hardware is there. On the business models HP usually provides it but you want to be sure. 

There are some great black Friday sales today on SSDs so I would say search around for the best price on any SATA 2.5 inch SSD. If you must have the best its a Samsung 860 Evo like this:

I check the bay on my PC and this part Does not exist.
