Sir,

Can i add one 8GB RAM in the empty slot along with my existing 4GB RAM in the other slot for my laptop 15bs662tu?

will it be compatible or cause problem?

Chapter 1 has the memory upgrade info.

 

The max is 2 x 8 GB of memory for a total of 16 GB.

Hi:

 

It will work just fine, but someday you will want to remove the 4 GB chip and replace it with an 8 GB chip so the memory can run in the better performing dual data rate (DDR) mode.

 

When you have an empty memory slot, or you install memory in mismatched capacities (2 + 4 GB or 4 + 8 GB) the memory runs in the lower performing single data rate (SDR) mode.
