I'm trying to add a spare M2 SSD (128GB) to my system (HP P/N 730944-001 came out from a Spectre X2 360) but my system does not boot after that.
Also the system does not allow me to install windows on the M2 SSD

@ARKIGOR Welcome to HP Community!
I understand that the computer will not boot after installing the M2 SSD.
Do not worry. I will try to fix the issue.
Please let us know the operating system is on the Hard drive.
What happen if you remove the M2 SSD?
Your computer will not support dual storage.
Please check the manual (Page number 5) as well.
Please check in the BIOs the SSD is showing or not.
Keep us posted,

hI , THANKS FOR TAKING CARE
The operating system is NOT on the Hard drive, this hard drive is empty/formated.
When I remove the M2 SSD the system boots as usual.
It is weared for the computer not to support dual storage, since it was sold (customized made ny HP with 2ea Hard drives one SATA 1TB and an M2 24GB.
Initially i have replaced the SATA 1TB with an SSD 512GB (using Mini tool partition wizard) . so i had a spare M2 128GB (remained after ugrading my wife's HP Spectre X2
The system at the start up recognizes both hard drives.
Thank you

Thank you for the screenshot.
In that case, I would suggest you remove the one SSD and on the other SSD install the windows 10.
After installation complete. Then install the other SSD and check.
Have a nice day!!

Hi again and thank you for spending so much time to assist me on this issue.
Windows are installed on the 512 GB SATA SSD.
When i removed the 512GB and left only the mSATA 128GB disk, then the systme was not allowing me to install the windows (using a thumb drive with Windows 10pro 64 setup)
