You can add a STANDARD 2.5" SATA3  HDD/SSD to your machine BUT you need part (2) and (3) as shown on page 19 of the manual.

 

If you wish to add a 2.5" SSD, Crucial MX500 or Samsung 860EVO or similar from other vendors such as WD, Toshiba, ... will do the job.
