Delete any folders you may have made in E:\ and try it this way:
This speaks of Vista but it works the same in Windows 10

I am reluctantly accepting this as a solution.
Customers shouldn't have to jump through the hoops just to add disk capacity which is needed all the time. Even after making the needed configuration changes, Windows still gets confused about the setup.
I appreciate the help I received from Huffer. Wouldn't have been able get anywhere without his help.

OK thanks sort of. You gave yourself the solution which is kind of like not leaving a tip at the restaurant. What you had to do is no more or less than the hardware requires. I can't help it if its not super easy to do.
