I wanted to upgrade my storage by adding an 1TB 2.5" Hard Disk to my laptop, but apparently, there's no connector or even a tray to hold a 2.5" on my particular model. Any ideas on where and how am I going to get my hands on the stuff I need to add an extra storage? Any help counts, thank you.

We would need your model number to identify the correct parts you need:

Service Manual:
This Manual covers the immediate predecessor model 14z-fq0xxx but is still valid for how yours is laid out. The only difference is the processor. Your model has no place for a storage disk other than one M.2 gumstick SSD. You can install a larger capacity M.2 SSD or if you just want a place to park videos, music, documents, etc. you can install a large capacity SD card and give it a drive letter and it will work as a storage drive. SD cards are available up to 500 gb and are pretty fast these days so can directly run movies from them, etc. So to be clear there is no way to add another hard drive.
