My Desktop is M01-F0022na. It has a 256 GB PCIe® NVMe™ M.2 SSD and 1 TB 7200 rpm SATA HDD.
Everything runs from the C: SSD. I last year to change the drive where documents and Outlook data files are stored to the HDD, but it reverted after a bios update.
I'd like to install a larger SSD but can't tell from the manual if there's space for a second SSD. I realise I will have to open the case to be certain of course but I wish the manual was clearer.
I've two questions:
- If there is space for the new SSD, then can I clone directly from old SSD?
- If there is no space and I can only replace the old SSD, can I clone the SSD to the HDD, remove the old SSD and install the new SSD, and then clone the HDD to the new SSD?
Thanks for any advice.

Hi,
https://support.hp.com/gb-en/document/c06530376
It says that there are two M.2 expansion slots so a new SSD can be installed alongside the old 256GB one. Samsung also provide a cloning utility to transfer data from the old drive into the new one.
