I did just purchase and install an m.2 2242 (determines length of the board) 256GB module in my 8490 - runs perfect.

I had to do a lot of research to find out which model actually worked, but this does.

I was already booting with a Samsung 850 SSD in a sata case as my main drive - this will be additional SSD storage.

Thanks!  That is exactly what I figured after digging deeper.  Just need the smaller size, 2242, and it should work.  It took a little while to discover this size as an option.  I appreciate you getting back to me and confirming this!

Success, I figured out how to get the M.2 drive working.  Just had to go through the process of formatting it
