@ezie,

Your model comes with a second M.2 slot that supports NVMe SSDs.

See page 32 of your service manual. The illustration of the internal view of the system board shows two M.2 SSDs.

Thank you so much, for your answer. Taking the opportunity, I would like to ask about RAM. Now there are 2x8Gb installed. Look like the max capacity to install in one slot is 16Gb. Is it correct?

Thank you

HP Recommended

Yes, that is correct.

Crucial RAM upgrade site for your model suggests a 32 GB kit (16x2) DDR4-3200.

@tk_srq  Sorry to intrude on the wonderful work you're doing helping ezie upgrade the Victus 16-d0028ur.

ezie, you should know that as tk_srq already mentioned there are two m.2 slots for storage. However the second one is for Gen3 PCIe devices: https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Notebook-Hardware-and-Upgrade-Questions/Inquiry-about-SSD-Compatibilit...

Also, it should be noted that the actual max RAM is 64GB or 2x32GB modules as seen on the Crucial link: Crucial Upgrades for HP Victus 16-d0028ur. In fact, if going with Crucial, I would definitely recommend buying the "CT2K32G4SFD832A" kit instead of any of the SFRA32A modules.

@TzortzisG Thank you.

Shame, but ive already ordered this

but I think it will run anyway but with  gen3 speed

You're very welcome. And it will.

Good luck upgrading. 😊
