Could you please confirm whether there is any additional port for m.2 ssd in 15-bg004AU. I just want to add a ssd as is booting device, keeping the original 1TB hard disk for other storing staffs.

The series does not offer dual storage options. Only 2.5" HDD or M.2 SATA-3 SSD, not both as on page 3 of the following manual

That means your machine may not have M.2 slot therefore you may have to add the following part to your machine

 

    Solid-state drive board (includes cable) part # 850946-001

 

You can open the case to check it out first.
