Buy whichever speed memory that HP installed in your notebook so it matches up.

 

If you don't know what speed memory HP installed in your notebook, you can use this free utility that I zipped up and attached below to find out...

 

The DDR4-2666 MHz memory will run at 2400 MHz, because that is the fastest speed your notebook's processor can run the memory at.
