All I want to do is order a new battery for a model 15-1272WM.  I have been getting the run around from this worthless system for over an hour.  It won't recognize the model number and because the serial number says out of warranty it kicks me out of the system.  I stumbled in here by accident.  How do you get a human being to look up the battery for this model and place an order.  I would like to get the battery in my life time.

The HP Notebook - 15-f272wm uses a 3 CELL BATTERY 31WHr 2.8AH LI with HP Spare part number 776622-001.

You can find parts through the HP Parts Store by searching the part number. Please make sure to select the correct country at the top right. HP will also list available authorized parts partners on that page. You'll find the majority of parts available there but it's common for them to be back-ordered or unavailable. The most successful method of finding parts is through online resellers or third parties. 

HP doesn't list any support options for this device online so I can't, unfortunately, obtain the Maintenance and Service Guide. I would at least hope that the battery is external/removable instead of internal.

This is actually quite common. 

Your next best option would be to search 776622-001 online for purchasing options from resellers and third parties.
