I cant believe this happened and almost immediately after the warranty expired. If i knew about this sooner I wouldve returned my laptop. My last omen lasted 8 solid years and I wanted to replace it with something as good if not better. This was NOT a cheap laptop. Just so the people ar HP know: I may have been a loyal customer but I will NEVER BUY AN HP PRODUCT AGAIN. I always recommended the omen as a powerful reliable laptop, but after this I WILL ALWAYS TELL PEOPLE TO AVOID HP AT ALL COSTS. Yes, this deserved all caps. They do not deserve to stay in business. NEVER BUY HP. HP stands for "horrible product."

I have the same issue, I gave my laptop at near by service center to look for the root cause of the issue.when I handed my laptop to them I clearly showed them the issue, but they are responding to me that there are no issue in the laptop and it's working fine. When I enquired how they tested it they ate responding that they conducted stress test by runnin youtube at high resolution for 7 hours. I'm deeply irritated by how they respond to this issue.

Even I am facing the same issue now. The laptop doesn't power on. I have tried reaching out to the HP support team, however, they told me that is to do with static energy.
My laptop is not powering on anymore - this is such aj annoying issue.

Hey Logan - good to connect with you!!
I have been facing the same issue with my Omen 16 AMD laptop. Bought it from one of HP world stores in India.
I am also thinking of writing to the Consumer court. Did you get your issue resolved?
