Victus by HP 15.6 inch Gaming Laptop 15-fa1000 (771S7AV)
Microsoft Windows 11

Hello, I wanted to know what type of NVME SSD is compatible with the Victus Gaming Laptop 15-fa1093dx (7N3S2UA) and if there would be any damage if I put a PCI GEN 4 SSD in it.

No damage it is designed to work with a Gen 4 PCIE 2280 form factor NVME SSD. This is the specified part number for the 1 TB SSD offered from the factory:

1 TB M16560-001

Any NVME SSD with the same characteristics will work and you can install one with as large a capacity as you can find. Likely up to 4 TB. Good luck.
