Hi, are there any important or crtical HP driver updates that I need after upgrading to Windows 11 version 22H2 because I received a pop-up notification that HP will no longer provide services and repair for the HP Spectre x360 15t-df000 ?
I'm assuming the HP Support Assistant doesn't work anymore at checking for HP updates because for several months now it has said there's no new updates, am I correct?

Hi:
HP does not have any W11 drivers for your notebook's model series available.
HP Spectre x360 - 15t-df000 CTO Software and Driver Downloads | HP® Customer Support
You are correct in that the HP support assistant will probably no longer work because it would be looking for updated W10 drivers only.
I'm sure by now that you have noticed that the Windows update program works a little differently in W11 than it did in W10.
I always check the Advanced Options section lower down on the main Windows update screen.
If you click on that, you can see if there are any optional updates.
That is where you would find any driver updates that were pushed to the Microsoft Windows update program.
If you just updated to W11, you may find that there are several updates waiting to be installed.

Thanks for that good information. I did see the optional updates and I wasn’t sure if I should download and install those since it said optional. So just to clarify, but would you recommend installing W11 optional updates?
Thanks again!!

You're very welcome.
Yes, I recommend that you install anything that is not a firmware update.
It will usually be labeled as 'HP Firmware' with a number next to it.
That is probably a BIOS update, and you should go to your notebook's support page and see if that update is being offered there by HP and decide whether or not you want to update the BIOS via Windows update.

Will do! One last question if you don't mind me asking, but Intel Driver & Support keeps notifying me on my HP laptop that there are 3 software updates available: Window Windows 10 and Windows 11 Wi-Fi Drivers for Intel Wireless Adapters, Intel Wireless Bluetooth for Windows 10 and Windows 11, and Intel 7th-10th Gen Processor Graphics- Windows.
Do you recommend installing software updates from Intel Driver & Support or should I just ignore those Intel notifications that new software updates are available, and only install any new software and drivers from Windows Update on my computer?
Thanks again for all your expertise!!

You're very welcome.
Yes, I recommend that you install those updates from the Intel DSA.
I would first create a system restore point before installing the drivers so that in the unlikely event things don't work as expected you can reset Windows back to that restore point.
