Hi Gurus,
This laptop 14-dq1045cl comes with 12GB RAM. Anyone know if it is accessible/upgradeable?

Hi:
The service manual linked to your notebook's model series hasn't been updated to include the newer processors, but yes, the memory can be upgraded. See chapter 1.

Crucial states you can upgrade your specific model to 32 GB (2 x 16 GB).
If you want to go for the max, get the 3200 MHz memory because the processor's FSB supports it.

I have this PC and upgraded the ram to 32gb.
However, the service manual linked is not fully accurate. The motherboard configuration has changed. For example, I do not believe there is a way to add a 2.5mm SSD to this computer as the HDD ribbon cable connector port has been removed. Could a tech guru please confirm?
