Thanks for the link. I see that the USB Type-C on my laptop is 'Data transfer only'; that's slightly disappointing.

Im also confused becuase im able to charge my phone off that same port, and it takes full advantage of fast charging capability (same as the manufacturers wall charger); I have a google pixel.

Is charging considered data, if so maybe it will consider video as data as well. What you think?
