We have bought a quantity ofN193 HP chargers. HP part number 677770-003
They all have the same CT Number. What does the CT number mean and should they be unique for each of the chargers?
Thanking you in advance.

Thank you for responding,
It's great to have you back 😉
I'm afraid you've overlooked a few details,
let me help you revisit my previous post as I had answered your query:
"Commodity Tracking (CT) Number could be the identification of the system board compatible with the adapter/power supply", that said, as long as the watts match the original PSU, that's all you need, as nothing else matters.
I hope this clarifies & answers your queries.
If you would like to thank me for my efforts to help you,

Followed by clicking on the "Accept as solution" button.
Have a great day!

Welcome to the HP Forums 🙂
I would like to take a moment and thank you for using this forum, it is a great place to find answers.
As I understand you need information on CT numbers on replacement PSU,
Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, however, to provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:
What is the product number of your device? Use this link to find it: https://hp.care/2rSuDJS;
(Ensure you do not share any of your personal information such as serial, phone number, email ID, etc...).
Did you check the HP Parts Surfer to confirm the replacement parts are compatible with your product?
While you respond to that, here's the link to the HP Parts Surfer if you haven't done it yet: https://hp.care/2tp77rQ
You could also order the compatible parts from HP, using the HP Parts Store: https://hp.care/2opJbTq
That said, Commodity Tracking (CT) Number could be the identification of the system board compatible with the adapter/power supply, use this link for more information:
Let me know how that pans out
feel free to give me a virtual high-five by clicking the 'Thumbs Up' icon,
followed by clicking on 'Accepted as Solution' as it would help the community gain more knowledge,
And Have a great day Ahead!

Thanks for the reply, but you may have misundertood my question.
I was asking if each CT number should be different on each of the Power supply units we have, or is it possible for 20 or so to be the same?
What does CT stand for?
