Can I install additional RAM and SSD type ROM alongside the stock RAM and ROM? Or do I need to remove the stock RAM and ROM in order to install new ones?

What do you mean ROM. I believe ROM is for Read Only Memory. Normally we won't replace RỌM  I think you are talking about Storage (or Hard Drive). The specs of your machine is

It has  4 GB DDR4-2400 SDRAM (1 x 4 GB) of RAM and  1 TB 5400 rpm SATA SSHD for storage.

 

1. RAM: Your machine supports 16GB max. You can upgrade to

         (a)   8GB: keep existing 4GB, add 4GB more to slot 2

         (b)  12GB: keep existing 4GB, add 8GB more to slot 2

         (a)   16GB (max):remove existing 4GB, install 8GB each to both slots.

 

2. Storage: You can add M.2 SATA/NVMe SSD to your machine
