Activating a full version of Office you have already purchased

If you have already purchased Office from Microsoft and own a product key, you can use the Microsoft Office App on your computer to activate and install Office (not available on all computers). This feature can be useful when the computer system image is restored to original condition after an HP system recovery.

  1. From the Start screen, type Microsoft Office to open the Search charm, and then select Microsoft Office from the search results.

  3. Enter the product key you received from Microsoft, and then click Continue.

Figure : Enter your product key

  4. Read and respond to the screens to finish installing Office 2010.
