Hi, I have an older HP Laptop (around 9 years old) and the battery isn't holding a charge now and keeps discharging. Is it possible to replace the battery on something that old?

HP PartSurfer

 

The battery part number and description is:

 

728248-221BATT,LA04041-CL,2.8Ah,DYN/LGC

 

HP no longer sells the battery, so I recommend you do a search by the battery part number and find a compatible aftermarket battery for your notebook on eBay or Amazon.
