Product: HP Pavilion Gaming 15-dk10000 (14N37AV)
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Dear HP Support Community,

 

The BIOS update files (version F.31) in the HP download website do not match the system board ID of my HP Pavilion Gaming 15-dk10000 laptop. The update files include versions 08740.bin and 08744.bin, while my system board ID is 8741.

What file version should I choose to update, 08740.bin or 08744.bin?

 

I am using Windows 10 21H2 (64-bit).

The BIOS update file 08740.bin is applicable to HP Pavilion Gaming 15 laptops, while version 08744.bin is for HP Pavilion Gaming 17 laptops. File 08740.bin successfully updates the BIOS to version F.31.
