Hp laptop Model 14-cf0051od
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My hp support assistant recommended me to perform the BIOS Update. After that, Microsoft Word does not open my files and no Internet browser opens.

I have gone through your Post and would like to help

You could try a System Restore and also  BIOS Recovery if the issue started after the BIOS update

Hi.
Again, my HP Support Assistant prompted me to update RealTek and I have now problems with access to Internet or any program. I followed your directions about pressing the Windows sign and B and turning the computer on, but the computer doesn’t respond to any internet browser, nor does it respond to my search queries from the Start button.

Shut down the Notebook. Press and hold the Windows and B and while holding those keys Turn on the Notebook

Hi. That did not work. I think that Windows 10 isn’t compatible with my hp laptop 14-cf0051od. And I can’t understand why my hp Support Assistant  notified me that I should update my BIOS, among other messages. Word does not respond. There is no Internet browser that opens: Microsoft Edge nor Opera, that I had installed. The search space next to the Start icon on the left lower corner does not respond to any query that I write.

I suggest you perform a Reset

Hi. I’m afraid the laptop will not work correctly if I just reinstall Windows 10. I’ll try, though.

OK, so now my Internet Explorer browser works -thanks for that- , but Microsoft Office disappeared. I have no access to Word nor to the Word documents that are saved in my laptop. Help!

Did you purchase Microsoft Office and paid for it or were you using the free version?

You can download MS Office from this Link: https://www.microsoft.com/en-in/microsoft-365/try if you have not purchased the full version

Thank you
