HP Pavilion Laptop PC 14-dv1000 RCTO Base Model

The HP support assistant says no updates are available for my Pavilion laptop.  When I go to the HP support website and let it identify my computer, it says a BIOS update F.26 Rev A is available.  I am currently on F.25.  The description says "provides improved security of UEFI code."  If this is a valid update, why doesn't the support assistant identify it?  And  is it safe to apply this update even though the support assistant says no update is available?

It takes a while for new updates to filter to Support Assistant. If the update is on the support page for your specific model it is safe to apply.
