- Unbelievable! I have a problem with the battery in my Spectra 360 ballooning. I understand the laptop is out of the warranty period. The battery has been removed by the Best Buy Geek Squad. Firstly I have been a volunteer fire fighters for 48 years. Is this a fire hazard? If I hadn’t taken the computer to Best Buy because the back was popping off I wouldn’t have known there was a problem. Second, I want to replace the battery. Tried HP Support to get some help. Set up 2 cases. Both times HP contacted me, and within a minute closed the case. I am retired, but I don’t wait in front of my computer for HP to contact me. I am seeking a 3rd party to find a battery. What do I have to loose? No warranty and no support from HP. Sad! Gerry Kostyk

Dilip,
This Spectra 360 is out of warranty. I have no idea what HP region I am in, but live near Watertown, NY. Was the ballooning battery a fire hazard? How would I have known this was a problem? I contacted HP Support and received repair tickets 2 times in an attempt to find out where I could find a replacement battery. HP assigned a repair Case# and replied, but didn't allow enough time or options to help me out. Pretty sad support.
