I recently got a battery replacement for my laptop (HP Pavillion 15). I checked HP Support Assistant to check the new battery's info and all, but it said "Calibration needed". So, I followed the steps in hp's website, but then, when I switched on the laptop according to the instructions, all I got was a black screen with the CMOS Checksum invalid (error 502) message. It rebooted after 15 seconds, and the time and date was all wrong. The calibration problem was also not solved. This happened again yesterday, when I tried to calibrate the battery again. I don't have a USB drive and I can't restore the BIOS. What should I do? What is the explanation of this situation? I also checked for BIOS updates, but there wasn't any in the settings, and I tried the hp website, but the os version available didn't match up....I am feeling very confused and I honestly have no idea what to do. Please help.
