HP does not have an OEM battery available for my unit. I bought an aftermarket battery. It works great, but I am unable to calibrate the battery using HPBC. Is it possible to calibrate an aftermarket non HP battery?

If the aftermarket batter is actually compatible with your notebook it should be recognized by the BIOS and HP Assistant.
The OEM part number is 920070-855. It is pretty inexpensive. Perhaps replacing it with an OEM battery would not be suxch a bad idea. The aftermarket battery you installed may have issues if it is not recognized by your notebook through by the battery's own S.M.A.R.T. circuitry.
