Pavilion 15-AU123CL
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

We leave this computer in the same spot at all times. Is it alright to use it plugged in if the battery completely dies?

I actually use at least 2 notebooks on AC without batteries. I used to have UPS in my house but now I have to run directly from AC. I use one machine (Windows 7) at least 12 hours each day and other one is around once a week just to get it up. I use the second one (Windows 10) for my guest room.

Basically you can run from AC the ONLY down side is if suddenly loosing power, the damages would be unpredictable specially the HDD.

Regards.
