My laptop covers extended warranty and has recently shown the battery damage error. Failure ID: Q0F79G-96UA5V-XD7W3F-C6BG03 (Blown Fuse).
In my extended warranty, it says that the battery replacement is covered if failure is not overtime or mishandle. The same is written in HP policy (non removable standard battery are covered in extended warranty if there is hardware fault in battery manufacturing).
However HP customer care is denying saying that "the policy is changed" but they didnt send the new policy, nor I could find it on internet.
Please suggest.
