Product: HP x360 S102Tu
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Is it safe to keep HP X360 s102tu connected to power cable full time.  I found there is a bios setting called battery health manager that would allow HP machines battery charging mode to be customized. However since this is only applicable to business notebooks, how can I handle the battery charging with my device.

Hi:

 

You can pretty much have the notebook connected to A/C power most of the time.

 

However, I recommend that once a month, you run the notebook on battery power and let the battery run down until you get the low battery warning and then charge it back up again.

 

The reason I recommend that, is to mitigate possible battery swelling from leaving the notebook connected 100% of the time to A/C power.
