Hello Guys,
I recently have changed my battery because my previous battery was dead.
Now I wish to stop my battery charging to 80% to preserve its health.

I found that the Battery Health Manager BIOS feature is not available in my laptop.

Neither is the BatteryCare function available.

Can please someone tell me another solution for this as I dont want the new battery to degrade as fast as the previous one.

I use my laptop from some heavy tasks so I have to keep it plugged in.
Need help urgently.

Battery Limiter is a free, Windows-based battery charge management app. I found it online for my wife when she got an Acer laptop, but I later found Acer's system maintenance app includes a battery health manager so I never downloaded Battery Limiter.

Basically, Battery Limiter lets you choose the max. charge level. When the battery reaches that level, the app sets off alert and you manually unplug the charger from the laptop. Too much work to do? Maybe so,  but it's free and you don't know when, if ever, HP provides you with a downloadable battery health manager app. See the link below if you are interested:

Actually I know about this app but the thing is I have to work for hours on my laptop and that to resource intensive tasks.

The moment I plug out my charger the processor does not reach its full potential  and also battery discharges too quickly.

Plugging in and out the charger every 15 to 30 mins is very inconvenient.

But will try this app. Atleast it will be useful for when I leave my laptop to charge and dont use it.

Beggars can't be choosers😿
