I bought my laptop few months ago. It comes with a fast charger(150W). It used to charge quickly, but recently after I updated my BIOS, the charging speed has very much decreased. It takes 15 minutes to complete even 1%. How do I solve this issue?
Processor AMD Ryzen 5 3550H with Radeon Vega Mobile Gfx, 2100 Mhz, 4 Core(s), 8 Logical Processor(s)
BIOS Version/Date AMI F.08, 09-07-2020

@Alex_2kGeorge Welcome to HP Community!
I understand that you are facing a battery issue.
In that case, I would suggest you rollback the BIOS and check.
Please turn of the laptop and turn on and perform the belwo steps.
Press the Windows key and then followed by the key "B" this time and then the power button for around 3-4 seconds, then release the power button and continue to hold windows+B for 3-4 seconds more.
Try updating the computer, this will install the latest updates -
Step 1 Windows Updates -
1) In the search box, type, and open Windows Updates.
2) Check for updates.
3) If the updates are available, click on install and restart the computer.
Step 2 Install updates using HP Support Assistant
- In the search box, type, and open HP Support Assistant.
- Check for updates.
- If the updates are available, click on install and restart the computer.
Note: If you do not have HP Support Assistant installed, Click here to download the same.
