This notebook does not turn on. A hard reset does nothing. It has a good adapter putting out 19.54 volts. The pin inside it is not bent or broke. I suspect it has a bad adapter connection that needs to be replaced. I want to remove it and test it. I have pried up the front cover all along the edges with a plastic tool but it does not want to come off. There are no screws on the bottom of this model and the only way to gain access is through the top. The maintenance manual does not address this and I do not want to pry any harder then is needed. Does anybody know the trick to open up this notebook so I can remove and test the power adapter?
