My battery has gone bad after 1 year and it was barely out of warranty so HP sold me a new battery with a Youtube video on how to replace. After watching the video and many others, it did not show how to replace my battery. I called them back and they wanted me to pay for further instructions. Anyone know how to replace my battery. The entire back is one piece that continues to the front side. Even after I removed the 5 screws that were holding the back in place. It is just one large piece of plastic. You can almost take off the keyboard but that gets stuck on the back edge so you can't completely remove that either without breaking something. !!!

I bought the battery directly from HP. I will try your suggestion, I found a new video that may have shown me how to get to the battery. Your directions fit in line with the video. I will let you know how it goes. Thanks.
