Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I need info on how to replace a battery on a HP Pavilion Notebook T9Y64AV. I cannot locate any battery compartment or a battery model for this laptop.

Unfortunately, HP Pavilion Notebook RSTGD7K4 does not provide any results on both a search engine and HP Support. 

A specific model/product number would instead be appreciated. (Please do not post serial numbers on the HP Support Forum)

Information on how to find a laptop's model/product number is detailed in this HP document.

 

If the model/product number is provided, we can give you a battery part number and the instructions for replacement.

Hello herbsteel,

 

The HP Pavilion 15t-au000 CTO (ENERGY STAR) uses a Battery 2C 41WH 5.36Ah LI BP02042XL-PR with HP Spare Part number 849909-855. 

 

You can then use the HP Spare part number(s) in the HP Parts store here. You may also be able to find it elsewhere on the Internet.

 

Since this is an internal battery, you will need to remove the base enclosure to access the battery. Steps to replacement are located on pages 31 and 32 of your computer's Maintenance and Service Guide.
