HP Pavilion - 15z-cw100 CTO
Microsoft Windows 11

Sometime last week, my laptop's battery stopped charging all the way. I will plug it in and eventually the light near the charging port will turn from orange to white to indicate it's done charging, but when I turn the laptop on the most it will be is 79% charged. I tried draining the battery to 0% and charging it from there and that did not solve the problem. the battery diagnostic that my computer can run does not detect a problem. How can I fix this?

@SarahG303,

Welcome to our HP User Forum!

In addition to @Paul_Tikkanen's feedback, if it is the case that you need to replace the battery in your HP Pavilion - 15z-Cw100 CTO (13J55EA), the HP part number would be: L11119-855 ("Assembly-battery 3C 41W 3.6A LI HT030") which is the "HT03XL" replacement battery as found here, for example: https://www.amazon.com/HT03XL-L11119-855-15-CS0073CL-15-CS0053CL-15-DA0014DX/dp/B0964TC1LS/ref=asc_d....
