Hi,

My laptop's battery looks swollen and I cannot close the screen down properly. It does not close down completely but will have a gap between the screen and the keyboard.

The laptop is still under 2-year Bundled Warranty but the support agent advised me via chat that the battery is not covered under this Bundled Warranty, and it's only covered for 1 year instead.

He sent me this link: https://www8.hp.com/us/en/privacy/limited_warranty.html

But also found this: https://support.hp.com/sg-en/document/c06475408

It mentioned that: All types of batteries, by default, only have a 1 Year warranty unless an HP Care Pack with Battery Support is purchased. This extends battery support to the full term of the HP Care Pack purchased.

I have googled but could not find any details of the Bundled Warranty's coverage. Hence, not sure if the Bundled Warranty is equivalent to the Care Pack? If it's not, what does Bundled Warranty cover?

Has anyone here come across this case before?
