My notebook began, suddenly, powering off. I checked the battery and then calibrated it. It seemed ok but it continued with the same problem. Now, I simply cannot pull the adaptor cable because it turns off suddenly.  So, it seems the battery is dead but when I run the HP test to the battery, it tells me that the battery is ok but it needs calibration. My questions are:

 - Could it be possible that a battery driver in windows 10 is failing and the battery could be ok?

- Any ideas about what definitive tests could I do to confirm is the battery?

Thanks a lot

Pier

Can you find a friend/relative with the same battery, and see if their computer runs with your battery connected?

No, not having anyone with the same notebook. I did another calibration. It seemed to work while the fan is off. As soon as the fan begins to work, the battery collapses and the notebook turns off.  I think I need to replace the batt.  Thanks anyway
