Battery draining

I think its my second year using NY Hp envy x360 15 cn013x but recently my battery was draining at an alarm rate like 100 to 96 in blink of an eye and after 5 minutes it suddenly drops to 89 a sudden drop rate of 3 % or 5 % if ididnt use my note book for 2 days or so it drops at 2% was it the battery problem or any software issue want to know what issue iam facing either to replace battery or to approach service center for repair

I have a similar model Envy and the battery drops when I have it turned off, just like yours.

You can use the information below to check the battery, but if it checks out, HP is not going to replace it.

You can check the battery to some extent using Powershell built into Windows 10, as follows:
1) Press Windows key + X
2) Click Powershell in the menu
3) Type powercfg /batteryreport

This will generate a report and if you scroll down, you will see Design Capacity and Full Charge Capacity ratings. If the Full Charge Capacity is less than 50% of the Design Capacity, it is faulty and needs to be replaced.

Also note the figure alongside the "Cycle Count". This tells how many times the battery has been fully recharged. A typical battery can handle around 500 charge cycles, but some will fail sooner than that.
