HP 15s-eq2028ur
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I bought a new notebook "HP 15s-eq2028ur, 3C8P7EA".

I always use it at home so I don't need a battery right now.

But battery is always 100% charged and I think it might be harmful for battery . I might need the battery latter (few years latter).

How can i safe the battery? (extend it's lifetime)

I saw there should be battery care feature in BIOS but my notebook does not have "advanced" tab in BIOS so I can't find this feature.

Is this feature enabled or disabled by default?

I know probably the best solutuion to disgarge my battery to 40% and disassemble my notebook to eject the battery but I don't really want to do that all the time 🙂 May be I have software solution?

The instruction says I have to discharge the battery to 80 - 90%.

But how can I discharge the battery to 80-90%?

It's always plugged in a power source and the battery is always 99% charged and it's non-removable battery so I can't that easily pull the battery out.

Hi@cogat,

`We have done the basic troubleshooting as per the document and the notebook needs to be checked taking remote access so that get to know it's a hardware or software issue.

I'd suggest you contact HP in your region regarding the service options for your computer or HP Chat Support Team.
