I purchased the new spectre notebook: HP Spectre x360 - 13-ap0038nr - HP advertises this model to have about 22 hours of battery but all I expect was 10 hours of battery life with light usage. I was wrong!
I get a maximum of 6 hours of battery usage on light web browsing and word/excel usage on "Better Battery" Setting. To compare against my 2-year old asus laptop - which has a small battery, I still get solid 9 hours on that laptop with my same usage.
I called up HP customer care several times, and they say 4-6 hours is all you should expect. I don't buy that from HP care. I believe there is an issue with my laptop and looking for help.
If it is true that 4-6 hours is all I should expect on a light usage with a better battery power setting, then HP is misguiding customers! T

I have brought your issue to the attention of an appropriate team within HP. They will likely request information from you in order to look up your case details or product serial number. Please look for a private message from an identified HP contact. Additionally, keep in mind not to publicly post personal information (serial numbers and case details).
If you are unfamiliar with how the Community's private message capability works, you can learn about that here.

Thank you, Asmita.
I replied to the personal message just now. I didn't reply earlier because I was so tired of reaching people from HP to resolve my issue. No one seems to care.
Honestly, at this point, I don't think anyone would be helpful at all. I've accepted the fact that I've lost $1500 on buying my HP laptop. I'm just going to use it as a desktop replacement - always plugged into the power socket.
