Battery light blinking white when powered on, won’t charge

My laptop is not charging when powered on and using it. I will plug it in and it will not charge, the battery light will flash white (like if it’s on standby). However, it seems to charge when it is powered off and not being used. I am in need of a solution for this please. Thanks in advance.

Please follow the below troubleshooting steps :

1. Disconnect the AC power adapter cord, remove the battery, and hold the Power button for 30 seconds. This will discharge the notebooks system capacitors.

2. Connect the AC adapter to a working power outlet or surge protector and connect it to the notebook.

3. Press the Power button to turn on the notebook.

Check if the issue is resolved.

I have a similar issue and the solution you have provided I couldn't follow in my laptop as it has a fixed battery.

My laptop model is hp ELITEBOOK corei7 BANG & OLUFSEN.

Please suggest me the solution as per this model.
