This is the part number for the battery you need.
4-cell, 41-Whr, 2.8-Ah Li-ion battery 807957-001
Its an older type clip in battery so you need no instructions to open the case. There are some tabs that release the battery and allow you to remove it and clip in a replacement externally.
This is a 3rd party compatible battery. HP long ago stopped selling it directly. You will find multiple sellers on amazon india and I picked one with a decent price and some positive feedback. On an older laptop these 3rd party batteries are a good solution.
